Title: Deep Ocean

Poem

Instructions

Into the depths of the ocean.
I can't see what lies ahead,
So I'll just keep swimming.
Unless I wind up dead.

Is roaring like an ocean, i am.

Is like the ocean: i am a sigh.

The ocean has a black blotch.

Is a drop in the ocean, one that’s never been.

And the ocean, a trembling mirror.

None of the above

Is swallowing the ocean –.

And the ocean, and the sky, are in the slumber.

The waves pulled by the ocean.

Is roaring like ocean, in a storm.

The ocean, a dark horse whose speed.

None of the above

Is like a droplet in the ocean.

That the ocean is a sexless liquid.

I am the red hot rock turning coal black in the ocean.

Is a river in the ocean of your soul.

That i saw you — above the ocean.

None of the above

Into the depths of the ocean.

I am the red hot rock turning coal black in the ocean.

I’m not the ocean or the sky.

Is a drop in the ocean.

And ocean, i believe, was crying.

None of the above

The ethereal thump of the waves

It is the only place I have ever belonged.

I can't see what lies ahead,

You are the dark, the cold,

It's not the water that I'm afraid of,

None of the above

I can only feel what I've felt.

So I'll just keep walking.

But I know the path is paved

I can only feel the pain.

I can't hear what's around.

None of the above

I'm not done yet.

And hope that one day I'll see you again.

And I'll keep wishing that you'd join me.

I can't let you drown me.

I'll keep wishing for a life that's not like this.
