Instructions

I enjoy the bliss of the solitary.
I know I will never be a part of that herd.
Different; no marching in line with the military
Just a sluggish shuffle of mediocrity, unheard.

And in that blissful hour, when your thoughts.

In bliss ensconced, and all things at his will.

And bliss, i thought.

And the bliss of the solitary.

And the bliss i saw was so complete.

None of the above

I know the joy of the solitary.

I'll never forget the sting of the crowd,

I know that I will never be a part of the herd.

I want to see the world,

I am a lover of the wild,

None of the above

I know that I will always be alone.

I know that I will always be a part of the wolf,

I know that I am different.

I know that I will never be what they want me to be.

I know that I will always be a lone wolf.

None of the above

Just a simple, lonesome solitary man

The military aint gonna let that happen

I'm on my own, my mind is my master

No sexy strutting in the high heels

Just a sluggish shuffle of mediocre

None of the above

I'm not proud of my life, nor am I proud to live.

I don't think I'll ever be seen.

I wished I had a roaring, thunderous slam of elation.

I'd like to think my feet were moving, if not dragging.

A sluggish shuffle of mediocrity, unheard.
